Episode #3 of TehPodcast has our original discussion about it. https://itunes.apple.com/ca/podcast/tehbias-com-presents-tehpodcast/id81502761

Also of note in this episode, Bryan is still playing Farcry 3, Allen played some Virtua Tennis and Burnout Legends on his PSP and I plugged in my N64 again to play Perfect Dark.

Another three years.

13 years of TehBias!

Shadow of the Colossus didn't even exist when we started this and now the remake is out.

Also, a friendly reminder about our Google+ Community. A few of us are active over there and I get notified of new posts.

Hey Mike!

Sorry I missed this. I saw you online last night doing a Vanguard Strike, but I only had a few minutes to spend or I would have joined your fireteam. I've put a ton of time into Destiny since mid-June (when I originally picked it up) and am usually online a few nights a week. I've been preoccupied with Diablo III: RoS* the last week and a half or so but I'm feeling like Destiny will be my game of choice again now. Jump into my fireteam any time! Would love some more gaming with the old crew. I have also played with Dave/Chris lately...always a good time.

*If you own Diablo III: RoS for the PS4 and haven't played in a while, you may want to fire it up. With the hours I've logged over the last couple of weeks, I've sent many presents to almost everyone on my friend's list.  :)

You'd almost think I had a reminder set up for that, wouldn't you? ;)

It's still mainly tumbleweeds around here, but there is a small group of us who post some things on the Google+ Community that Pieter created a while back. If you're reading this and you're not a part of it, you should probably be joining us over there as well.

Later everyone...looking forward to more gaming chatter and maybe some online gaming here and there!

Howdy, lads. It's been awhile! I know I've got you on my friend's list, Mike, but I'll add you shortly, Tony. :)

Well, I have my PS4 with BF4 and Killzone, though of course PSN is down from the load (oh, Sony).

I'll be online a lot tomorrow afternoon and evening.  Gamertag LexLucidity.

Just got the request. So the old Beer Monkey name is no more?

We won't have our system until Christmas most likely, but in the meantime I'm going to subscribe to PS+ and catch up on some of those games.

PSN name is Maremy for anyone who hasn't added Mary and me. Yes, the name is sickeningly cute. Heh.

I'll make sure that Mary checks this. She's into ACNL in a big way.

I think the summer sale is available whether you're a Plus member or not, but you save more if you are.

General Gaming Discussion / Re: Games of the year 2012

Since I haven't played a lot of the AAA titles this year, my highlights of the year are:

Trials Evolution
The track detail and variation is amazing and they really nailed the local multiplayer mode too!

Borderlands 2
I missed out on the first game but I'm having a great time with this. The variety of weapons is definitely a novelty. Played great as a single or multi player game.

I actually have Dave to thank for this. I saw his Top 10 list on Twitter a couple of weeks ago and although I had downloaded the demo for this, I hadn't tried it. Before playing, I went ahead and grabbed the full version.

I think Journey is a game this either clicks with you or it doesn't. For me, it most certainly did. I hesitate to stay too much about it because I think for anyone interested in playing it, it's something that should be 'experienced' with as little prior knowledge as possible.

This game evoked emotions in me (fright, urgency, exhilaration, determination) greater than any other game has ever done before -- and something that was accomplished with no text or dialogue. I will say that at the end of the game, I was mentally exhausted. When it was finished, I just stared at the screen until the credits were completely done before I snapped out of it.

The graphics are gorgeous and the soundtrack is a wonderful compliment to the game.

Still to play: XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Halo 4

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, Mark! I had watched your clip when you posted it.

Great job with it!
