I kind of liked Caprica.  It had a compeltely different feel than BSG and I was able to tailor my expectations accordingly.  I'm curious to see where the show goes and I hope it doesn't fall into the pitfall of other prequels.

I watched The Plan last night on Blu-Ray. Loved having new BSG to watch, but overall it was just a taste and left me wanting more. They tried to cram way too much into the two hours. It was basically Cavil's story, and it could have lasted a whole season at least. The unexpected insight I got out of it was how localized the skin-job's passion for extermination was. The 1 on Galactica seemed to be the only determined cylon. The rest came off as kinda blaze about the whole thing. Things were done half-assed and likely wouldn't have been done at all without Cavil's leadership.

The more I think about it, the more I realize I didn't like The Plan at all.

I'm rewatching the show and just finished Season 2, Episode 7: Home, Part 2. At the very end Baltar asks Six, "Who or what are you exactly?" after he gets his brain scanned, realizes she's not a chip and that he's not crazy. She answers, "I'm an angel of God sent here to guide and protect you." Can't believe how spot-on and honest this answer was way back in Season 2. Baltar does ask, "To what end?" and Six answers, "To the end of humanity" or something like that. Not quite as accurate unless you see what happens in Daybreak as the end of humanity and the start of the human/cylon people we are now. Actually, that totally works. Cool.

Okay, I'm getting really nit-picky here. I just watched all four seasons again on Netflix streaming and I swear the scene with Tyrol saying he was going off to a small island was missing from Daybreak, 3. Am I crazy? It's a lot to ask, but has anyone else noticed this? Could it have been cut from the home video release for some reason?

Edit: Alright, alright. Google is my friend. Someone else out there noticed this too.
