Nintendo Wii Friend Codes
« on: November 20, 2006, 07:02:45 PM »

This is the thread where we all share our Nintendo Wii Friend Codes with each other.  Having a consolidated thread so that we can find each other is our best bet.

The Wii is just one friend code per machine correct?

Also, anyone know when the LAN adapter is supposed to be coming out?  Until then, I won't be doing any online with it.

The Wii code is one per machine, not per game.  At least they are making some progress.  :)

The USB LAN adapter comes out the first week in January.  Give Nintendo's track record lately, they'll probably produce 2,000 of them and within a day they'll be backorderd and selling for big bucks on eBay.   :P

Well if I can't get the LAN adapter, I'll have to figure something out.  I just wish I knew if the DS wi-fi adapter worked for sure.  I don't think it does, but I could be wrong.   Don't really need to worry about this I guess until I can get my hands on one.

Uh, the DS WiFi Adaptor works fine.  It pretty much says so on the Nintendo Wii Support Page.

I didn't think to look at the support page.  Thanks.  That solves that problem.   :)

Well I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I think I sent friend requests to everyone in this thread last night.  If you turn on your Wii be sure to check your Wiimail!

You both have to add each other in order to send messages.  I've added you but I don't think it registers right away.  Messages are sent and received that quicklyl.

I'll add you all tomorrow.  Are there any multiplayer games that take advantage of these codes yet?  Or are these things primarily used for Mii exchanges at the moment?

I think it's just Mii-related. AFAIK there aren't any Wii-MP games yet.  - Oh...and Matt's Mii showed up on my console. Did Geese make it anywhere yet?
