Liquid cocaine is one of my favourite shots. The one I get usually contains goldschlager, jager and rum. I also love red headed sluts, polar bears, banana jack, and well pretty much anything else. Oh and muff dives are fun too. This is a blow job in a martini glass covered in whipped cream and you have to dig out the shot with just your mouth.

And to think we made fun of Dave for drinking Smirnoff Ice.

The shots go well with the beer and the muff dive is just something the local pub does for you on your birthday. If you're a chick, you just get a blowjob shot.
At least I'm not drinking wine spritzers...not that I drink wine anyways.

If we want to go into the sweet, bottle drinks territory, Mike's Hard Lemonade has extra fuck me ups.
To the point that we just call it Mike's Extra Fuck Me Ups.

Yeesh, I remember those. I think I knocked back about five of those at my daughter's birthday party many years ago. I don't remember much of a buzz, but after I made dinner, I actually fell asleep on the couch for an hour and a half while everyone was still at the house!
The severe heartburn afterward reminded me of why I can't indulge in any booze these days...

I think there was a period of about a year where I really enjoyed Mike's Hard Lemonade. And now I hate it! In fact, I hate most coolers (Smirnoff Ice, Mike's, Vex, etc).
Usually, they give me a headache and they're way too sweet for my liking.
I'll stick with my red wine (as dry as possible), Corona and PC Lite

Being a Nor Cal native wine is in my blood. I‘m not the biggest fan of white wines but paired with the right dish they can be wonderful. Reds I’ll drink with about anything. My dad lives in Sonoma County about 25 minutes from downtown Napa. I’ve been to many of the wineries around there.

Dylan, I've never had Red Bull and Vodka but Red Bull and Jager as a bomb is quite good. I've only ever had an Irish Car Bomb (Guiness and Baileys), what other kinds are there?
The shot dropped into the Car Bomb should be 1/2 baileys 1/2 Jameson
I generally drink rail vodka with Red Bull, because expensive vodka tastes the same mixed with Red Bull.
I've done quite a few Red Bull bombs, such as Orange ("Tic Tac"), Grape ("Graperade"), Blueberry ("Bluebomb"), or Rasberry Vodka. If you try Rasberry and Orange together in a bomb, we call it a "Starburst". I've also made a few up, such as the "Charlie Don't Surf", which is a Surfer on Acid shot dropped into Red Bull; and the "Washington Bomb", which is a Washington Apple dropped into RB; and the "Pineapple Upside Down Bomb", which is the Pinapple Upside Down shot dropped into the RB. I'm considering trying a "GranMa Bomb", which would be Gran Marnier shot dropped into the RB. Oh, Jager dropped into Rockstar is pretty good as well.
If you want a real kick in the ass, try a TKO shot. Equal parts Rumpleminze, Jager, Sambuca and Goldschlager, shaken and chilled as much as possible.
I think my favorite all time shot is "Surfer on Acid", which is Jager, Malibu and Pineapple. Close runner up is "Carrot Cake", which is 1/2 oz. Gold Schlager, 3/4 oz. Bailey's and 3/4 oz. Kahlua.
I also like to mix it up sometimes with a Stoli Vanilla & Ginger Ale, Beefeater & Tonic, or old reliable Cap'n & Coke. I once drank more than 3/4 of a handle of Captain on New Year's eve and still made it to my bed and got my shoes off....and my roommates picked my lock and drew lewd pictures on me with permanent marker.

My father once knew a guy who would only drink a particular 1955 barolo. I don't think Manhattan has any bottles left, thanks to him.
I love that Robert Mondavi started his vineyard because someone told him it wasn't possible to make Italian style reds in the US.

I love a good Chianti with an Italian meal and a nice Merlot with just about anything. Ravenswood is one of my favorite vineyards, and I recommend the
Vintner's Blend
.
I don't mind a Pinot Grigio, but I rarely drink white.

Matt, can you recommend a California red wine? The booze mart here (also know as the LCBO, meaning Liquor Control Board of Ontario) does carry California wines. I've never had California wine before so I don't really know what is good and what isn't. I need a bit of starting point.
At first, I found I could only pair red wine with certain foods (like pasta and a tomato-based sauce) but now I pair it with just about anything. Oh, and it's great on its own
.
I tried a sample of red wine at the Olive Garden on Saturday. I told the waiter to surprise me with whatever type he wanted to, so of course he brings me a sample of the most expensive red wine they have. And damn, was it ever good!
Of course I don't remember the name of it.
Olive Garden actually has a really good house red wine as well. It's a Rosso (I think) and goes great with pasta with a tomato-based sauce.
For the wine drinkers out there, have you ever bought the wine (or tried wine) from a tetra pack? The LCBO seems to carry more wine in tetra packs than ever before. At first, I was a bit of a snob about it and refused to try it. Finally, I broke down, bought one to try and it tastes exactly the same. In some ways, I like it better than buying wine in a bottle because in the tetra pack, the wine keeps better for longer (something to do with being as to squeeze the air out of the tetra pack as you close it). It's also great if you're travelling somewhere; you don't have to worry about the bottle breaking. One of my friends actually prefers buying wine in tetra packs now.

I could recommend a ton of Cali wines. It might be easier if you gave me a few of the names available to you and I'll let you know if I've heard of them. Although many wines can be somewhat judged based on region, just like French wines. One of the best regions is Rutherford. I don’t think I’ve had a bad wine grown there. Plenty of wineries use grapes from there. Although there are some good wines from the central coast the best ones come from Napa and Sonoma counties. Healdsburg, Calistoga, Mendicino are all good as well. Just make Jeremy take you on a vacation out here and I’ll show you where to go!

Matt,
Thanks for all that information about the wines! I went out to the booze mart on Friday to get a bottle of wine for a party I went to last night. Anyway, I scoped out the California wines section (which is actually pretty sad compared to some of the other LCBO's I've been in). Anyway, here's a couple of the red wines I took note of:
Leaping Horse: made by Ironstone Vineyards.
Fetzer
I also thought I saw one called Woodbine but I'm not too sure. I did end up buying a bottle of California wine. It's made by Barefoot Vineyards and it's a Merlot. It's very, very good! One I would definitely get again. It's from the Napa region.
With the way the weather is right now, I would love to go on a vacation to California. I already told Jeremy we're going to California at some point, just cause I need to go visit some vineyards

If you want something that's closer for a long weekend trip: I've read that the wineries up in Michigan make some wines that rival those from California. A lot of the area's grapes are grown on the Old Mission Peninsula which, being surrounded by the east and west arms of the Grand Traverse Bay, is a very mild, temperate area, which is well suited to growing grapes. St. Julian is a big operation, true, but the really good ones are the smaller wineries up north in the Old Mission area, which offer sampling and winery tours. (I used to buy some from Chateau Grand Traverse to send away as gifts, and they were well received.
) I could recommend stopping at The Bowery for dinner (in Bower's Harbor, on the peninsula): they have the best ribs in the area, and some great lake perch.
Our local market has a section devoted to Michigan wines, also, along with other regional wines from around the world. We're no wine drinkers, but if anyone ever had a taste for something other than the Boone's Farm, I'd know where to point them.
I just discovered two weeks ago that our market is now importing Pepsi AND Coke from Mexico, the stuff made with real cane sugar and not corn syrup...Debbie tried a bottle of the Pepsi last night and was amazed at how much better it was than the crap they sell here in the U.S. She actually said it was NOT sweet--well, it was, but it was not the sickly sweet that all the modern soft drinks have these days. I took one little sip, and she's right: it's actually more like the old Pepsi I remember while growing up. I could probably get away with drinking a 12oz. bottle of it and not getting sick.

While I don't drink wine, I've heard a lot of good things about the stuff coming out of South Africa recently. Although I've been told to avoid one called Hippo Lake which was affectionately referred to as "Hippo Piss".
