Secretly proud but outwardly disapproving of my students today. We completed a large scale Algebra problem. This followed:

Student A: All that was just one problem!
Student B: It was so big!
My brain: Please don't say it.
Student C: That's the biggest one I've ever seen!
My brain: Uh oh, here it comes.
Student D: That's what she said.
My brain: NO NO NO NO NO NO..... don't laugh.

I really don't want to see my name on the Internet in that way. I of course see Student D after class and scold her, tell the principal, and thankfully she let it go with a warning.
