New Super Mario Bros. Wii
« on: November 01, 2009, 11:38:47 AM »

This article says NSMBW could be the most challenging of the series. The last Mario platformer I tried was the DS title and I never finished it because I wasn't good enough. I hope that with co-op I might have more success, but as a hardcore casual gamer I'm a bit nervous at this news.

I hope there is an option to use a standard controller. Mario Galaxy would have been much more enjoyable with the Wavebird, IMO.

I didn't finish the DS either--I'm not as good at games as I used to be.  I'm better with games like Zelda, or anything with a puzzle.

Rented this today. It is a lot like the DS title.

There is no option for the Wavebird  >:(

I played some coop with my son and it is a bit frustrating jumping on each other or inadvertently knocking Koopa shells into one another, but it was still pretty fun.

I'll probably end up buying this one at a later date. Definitely worth a rent/buy if you like the play style of the DS version.
