Started playing this last night - really enjoying it so far. I don't really want to say much more about it, since it's more of an interactive movie - every part of it, even the interface feels like part of the movie.

Lets just say that it got my heart pumping like a good thriller usually does.

No, not this one...

I've got this queued up on my newly acquired Gamefly account...  After watching some videos on it, it looks very unique.

Finished Heavy Rain last night. Overall enjoyable experience. I don't mind discussing it with other people who've finished it - but I would highly recommend a healthy amount of spoiler tags since this game can apparently go in a bunch of directions.

Clue, the movie, comes to mind.

I agree with Geese, this game is very difficult to talk about without having experienced it for yourself.

In general terms some of the voice acting could have been better.  That said, this game got my heart pumping in ways that I didn't think a game could.  I really, really hope we see more games in this genre.

If you own a PS3 you definitely should experience what this one has to offer!

Is this more of a rental?  I played the Indigo Prophecy and that game comes to mind whenever I think of buying or renting this game.  I liked IP but it wasn’t my type of game.  I got to the end and the button timing got ridiculous so I stopped playing before I went crazy.

Yeah, Heavy Rain is more of a rental. And if you didn't like Indigo Prophecy, it's probably a safe bet you might not like Heavy Rain.

Definitely a rental.  I'm guessing one play through was about 7 hours tops.

I was talking with my friend after I finished and we had radically different things happen in our games which was cool.  Usually you hear about games like Fallout 3 or whatever that purport to have a gajillion different endings but it's usually just a little bit of different text or something.  I had things happen in my game that he didn't even see in his.  Pretty cool!

My wife and I both enjoyed Indigo Prophecy and I think she'd enjoy this as well.  I'm going to try and rent it when she's not so busy at work and see if we can't get through it together.
