Halo 4
« on: November 07, 2012, 07:50:53 AM »

It's awesome. Anyone else pick it up? Multiplayer is fun, I actually got a few kills in my second match! I have finished a little of the campaign. My son and I are going through that together.

There are various daily, weekly and monthly tasks you can complete to earn extra XP in both single and MP. Lots of gear and weapons to unlock. It might be my favorite Halo yet...

Looking into getting this tonight on my drive home, if Sam's Club has any copies on hand...

I have finished a little of the campaign. My son and I are going through that together.

Wendy and I are playing split-screen campaign and are really impressed how good it still looks and runs in split-screen. Seems amazingly optimized. Haven't noticed any texture loading issues even though it's running from the DVD.

Liam is getting the LE for his bday on 12/4, so I will be ready to play as soon as he lets me!

It really is a fantastic game (so far). Great graphics, I'm interested in the story, new characters, Spartan Ops is a lot of fun and will have very long legs. Best Halo yet!

Damn you all and your Halo praise. Now that I no longer care about the series you tempt me with this news.

Have you finished the campaign yet? Just wondering if Spartan Ops would be any kind of spoiler...

Almost finished with the campaign.  Really good game!  I'm liking it better than Halo 3, and Halo 2 (Halo and Halo Reach were both bloody brilliant IMO)

Looking forward to some co-op and Spartan Ops action as soon as I finish the main story...

According to an IGN video I just started to watch (then stopped), Spartan Ops is supposed to take place 6 months after the main campaign.  Once I heard that, I stopped the video so I wouldn't spoil anything so I guess the answer to your spoiler question would be:

Definitely, Maybe.

Finished the game. Easily the best in the series. There was not one moment that dragged.

So I guess letting Bungie move on wasn't the end of the world after all?

Finished last night.  I agree with Allen about it being the best (in the Master Chief) series.  Personally, I liked Halo Reach the best, but this was great.  Looking forward to playing through the Spartan Ops.
