Of course, to run it you need to have some kind of local 'gateway' that you can fudge with.   You wouldn't be using this at Starbucks.   I'm sure we'll see a fully unlocked browser in the near future.

Heck, games like Twisted Metal should have a full browser.   Typically, both free and pay public hotspots require some kind of web form (either a login, or a legal waiver) to be cleared before given full access.
