Oh, Charlize, what were you thinking? AEON FLUX

Pieter

Forget what Charlize was thinking, what's Frances McDormand doing in that piece of crap?

I like the looks of Munich. Speilberg's going for another 1993 when he had Jurassic Park and Schindler's List. Hopefully Munich won't be as exponentially worse than Schindler's List as War of the Worlds was compared to Jurassic Park.

Here's a new (I think) trailer for Bloodrayne from everyone's favorite director: Uwe Boll. It looks even worse than the teaser did a few months ago.

What do you suppose they have pictures of Ben Kingsley doing? Fucking a goat? How does he follow up Sexy Beast and House of Sand and Fog with this? Nobody's mortgage is that steep. And it's good to see that Meatloaf is adding his last name to his credits, because "Meatloaf Aday" just looks more professional, damnit.

I didn't know I was in this?

Also, on the cast website it's "MEAT LOAF".  Two words.

In the trailer, if you can bear to watch it, it's one word. I was surprised, usually Uwe gives much more attention to detail. Like in Alone in the Dark when Tara Reid--you know, playing the scientist?--pronounces Newfoundland (newfundland) as "New [I just] Found [it] Land."

Looks cool, even though some of the images towards the end could be interpreted as spoilers to a certain degree.  Maybe only if you have read the book would you know what to look for.  I hope they do a good job with this because I really enjoyed the book.

It does look cool, but I thought it was quite vague in it's spoilerage. Thanks for posting the link.

I caught that MI3 trailer on AOTS last night.    I have a hard time watching anything with T.C. in it these days, since I'm constantly reminded what a nutjob he is.    But Philip Seymour Hoffman might make me give in...

Tom Cruise, a nutjob? Heaven forfend!

Cruise continues his drive towards Crazytown

Quote
Tom Cruise will appear at at a fundraiser tonight for a controversial Scientology program that claims to heal firefighters and rescue workers who breathed toxic smoke on 9/11.

Doctors, however, say Cruise's "purification rundown" is nothing but worthless quackery consisting of sauna sweating, ingestion of cooking oil and large doses of niacin. The program could actually be harmful, because Cruise and company advise everyone to stop taking their prescription medications or using inhalers, just as he criticized Brooke Shields for taking anti-depressants to relieve her postpartum depression.

When the words 'Tom Cruise', 'sauna sweating' and 'cooking oil' come together in a story, I also fully expect to see some combination of the words 'publicist rigorously denies' and 'drunken ass-pirates'. My mistake (this time). But it now seems only a matter of time before Tom Cruise's quasi-medicine indirectly kills someone. Hopefully that someone will be Tom Cruise.

New V for Vendetta trailer out!

http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/v_for_vendetta/trailer/

I know the Wachowski Brother and Sister are producing, so that might turn some people away, but I think it looks great!

Yeah, it's gonna turn out to be really bad, but it looks cool right now: Ultraviolet

(actually, I thought it was called Ultraviolent, and even if that is a rip-off from Anthony Burgess, it's still a better title)
