I'm there!  Give me black or red, however - not white.

I hate marketing people and company spokesmen. Sleazy bastards. You look back on all the stories about the redesign and they say things like, "We're not announcing a redesign at E3" or "Those are rumors and speculation." Can't they say things with a wink and a nod?

Of course, I'll get one.

I thought you hated the DS?

FYI, here's a 2D size comparison:

I can't see it here at work, so I'll check it out when I get home.  If it's designed such that my thumbs don't get all cramped up playing it I'll probably get one.  Then my wife can have mine as her very own.

EDIT:  I don't know about the smaller screen.  The DS is already tough to see things on.

The screens are the same size, the casing is smaller.

Ah.  That would be nice aesthetically but it would probably make my hands cramp up even more.  I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I wasn't happy with the way my hands felt after playing the Metroid demo.  I have become interested in some of the sports, RTS and other titles that have started to appear.  I have yet to play any version of Animal Crossing and it sounds like you are having fun with it.  I'd like to rent the new golf game and judge it myself.

This should be a good time to get into the system as second and third gen versions of titles start to appear - programmers should be learning from first efforts and starting to get comfortable with the system's capabilities.

That's just great. I'm glad I waited until a month or two ago to buy one  ::)

All this redesigning Nintendo does is fucking irritating, IMO.

Tough to tell from that pic.  Is GBA support in or out?  Looks very cool!
