Oh I'll be watching!  ;)  Then I'll post my thoughts in my deserted 'Lost' thread.

This would be a great opportunity for a high-def ad.   Most ads are still standard def.

How true.  I think I've only seen one High Def ad ever on a standard network.  Regardless, I'll be watching tonight and then I'll continue to try and find Jeremy's Lost thread.

In the absence of a new episode of The Office this week, here's a couple of quotes from last week's brilliant episode:

"'A real man makes his own luck,' Billy Zane, Titanic."

"It's the perfect size for a mini Christmas tree, so we are going to sell it to charity, because that is what Christmas is all about."

"No one ever died from getting drunk."

More from this week's The Office...

Continuing the Titanic references:

Michael - It's like the movie Titanic. Everyone saw that right? Raise your hand if you saw Titanic.

Jim - I'm... not sure what you're talking about. Are you sure you have the title right?

Pam - I think you're thinking of The Hunt for Red October.

I have got to stop watching this show two or three days late.   Now it's always a waiting game to see when Jeremy's quotes show up.

The show is good and I have certainly noticed the music.   I'd say it has some of the best usage of licensed pop/rock since 'Freaks and Geeks'.

Still likin' The Office, too.   It'll finish up for the year early, around March, so that Steve can shoot his next movie.

I don't think I watch anything new. Still working on finishing up "House, MD" Season 1 on DVD.  When the TV actually turns to broadcast, I'm watching City Confidential, Cold Case Files, American Justice, CSI (vegas, not miami) or Law and Order Special Crime Victims Advocate Administration Collective Unit (or something like that)

Someone gave me LOST season 1 on DVD for my birthday last year. I haven't broken the shrink-wrap yet. It's not that I think it's going to suck. Quite the contrary. I just want to avoid a 3 day Lost marathon that I'm bound to get caught up in if I start watching.

This week's The Office quotes:

Dwight: Michael wants us to do some male bonding. We need some topics of conversation.
Jim: Ponies?
Dwight: No.
Ryan: Rainbows?
Dwight: No.
Jim: Flowers?
Dwight: No, come on you guys...

Dwight: Remember on "Lost," when they met The Others?

Dwight: It's not good for the office if they (the women) spend the day together in the same room. Soon they'll all be on the same cycle and that'll cause havoc with the plumbing.

Michael: Black people love pizza, white people love pizza... Blacks like pizza, right?

Well, Arrested Development on Fox would seem to have come and gone. The season (series?) finale was Friday and it was of course awesome. The return of Anyang was inspired and the cameo during the epilogue was fun to watch. If the rumors are true and this gets picked up by Showtime, I'll be there in a heartbeat.

RIP, GOB, one of the funniest characters ever on TV.

Damn that was funny watching Conan O'Brien walk by as Michael Scott chased town "Tina Fey" during the last episode of The Office.
