My Name is Screwnut75.  I was dragged to this board by Failsafe cause he kept whinning and complaining about the shortage of members.  So I came...and then got insulted for my troubles!  (check out the Destroy all Humans thread....it use to be in the Sony Forum but he moved it apparently because it's coming out on some system called X-box?) 

I've played video games as far back as I can remember.  (Centipide being my all time favourite!)  I've been around since Q-bert and Pacman were cartoon characters on ABC Saturday Morning Cartoons show.  I won my first home video game system (the Nintendo 8-bit) WAS a former die-hard Nintendo fan.  Until the destruction of my soul by the hands of Nintendo.....there weapon was called the N64!  I jumped companies when the PSone was reduced in price and never looked back.  Sony Playstation 2 has strengthen my alligence to that company and their wide selection of games is what has kept me there. 

The gamecube is cute...but I've grown up!  The X-box does deliver so great Online gaming (infact I'd have to call it the King of Online Gaming)  BUT it's games are lacking in feeling.  Sure HALO was great and HALO 2 was even better but that's about it.  Mister Bill Gates thinks he can take over the video game industry, just like the computer industry, by throwing money at the problem and buying out companies.  Well he's meet his match.  X-box is just a memory in Japan and with the coming new WAR of video game systems I think Yoda says it best  "Begun the console wars has....."

Hey all, I received an invite to this site by Mike via the HTF way back on January 12.  I registered but somehow forgot about the site.  I came across his invite yesterday as I was deleting some old PM's over at HTF and noticed his.  So, here I am. 

I must say that I recognize most of you from LCVG but don't see any of you there any more.  Did something happen that wasn't made public?  If it can't be discussed, then PM will do.

The short answer; with as little gossip as possible...

HTF videogame section was under-moderated, there was a rebellion and the result was LCVG.

LCVG was over-moderated, there was a rebellion and the result was TehBias.

We all chat here but many of us spend even more time playing on Live.   Lately lots of Summit Strike but over the long haul we always return to classics like Burnout 3 and Halo 2 (even though lots of us aren't that great at it...Oddball is always fun, though).   I'll look for you online.
